KWS-3@Data-Reduction-Example

DAN-SANS :: KWS-1 :: Standard Mode :: Data Reduction Introduction

In this introduction everybody could process raw-data obtained at KWS-1 SANS instrument both virtually (looking to more than 100 pages of step-by-step introduction) as well practically at own computer (raw-data is attached also).

  • Info-Table was generated to get information about raw-data located in the data-folder
  • Single mask matrix is used for thee sample-to-detector positions
  • Single sensitivity matrix was used for all configurations. Sensitivity file was provided by the instrument responsible.
  • Table of configurations was filled step-by-step.
  • Transmission is calculated using values saved in the header
  • Script Table was automatically generated
  • C8mD8m configuration was selected as “transmission configuration”. Tr obtained for C8mD8m copied to C20mD20m and C8mD2m configurations.
  • Radial Averaging and merging with the standard mask are shown
  • Matrixes of the detector images were calculated (fully corrected): scattering signal was not ISOTROPIC
  • Radial Averaging and merging with the “vertical” and “horizontal” masks are shown
